The purpose of the Dove Center was brought into action by Mark Niclas, under the direction of Sananda. The name Sananda has been recognized always within the Brotherhoods of Light as the one who has been connected with the teachings of the Christ Consciousness. The name Sananda is now given to us for our connection with others of the Brotherhood of Light and as a means of working with those who truly seek a greater understanding. Mark has been sensitive to the work of Spirit since early childhood, and for the past 12 years has conducted circles in which he functions as an active voice channel for Sananda and other Teachers of Light. This type of process allows for personal contact between those seeking spiritual understanding and the those "Elder Brothers and Sisters" of the Realms of Light who come at this time that we awaken. In recent years, writing inspired messages from Sananda is the medium Mark is working with, enabling the work to reach more individuals, different languages and much quicker means through the internet.

In the formation of the Dove Center, Mark had worked very closely with Sister Thedra who for over 45 years has been a scribe for Sananda and the Brotherhood of the Seven Rays. It was she who in the 1950’s was first given the name Sananda for those who were, even then, beginning to feel something stirring. Sister Thedra passed away in 1990. For years the masters had spoken to her of the great Spiritual Awakening which would bring Humankind out of it’s spiritual lethargy and transform the planet. Mark knows deeply in his heart, that as he reaches his 46th birthday, he is to now once again bring forth continued teachings and reminders. 

These great teachers from the realms of light have come, not to enlighten us with words, but rather to assist us to Awaken to the Light which we Are, the Source of our very Being, for truly the Time of Awakening and Transformation has come.

The Light which goes out from this Center is only the sum total of the understanding of those who participate in the Energies, magnified by the Light of those Higher Ones , our Elder Brothers and Sisters, whose only desire is that we might learn. They come to bring greater Light to our darkened world.

Mark is the scribe for 2 books published in 1991.  Calling All Workers of the Light and The White Star.  He is knowing working on a new book titled Life's Lessons Lived Lovingly and a fantasy-tale story called Tianna and the Star Being.
